Upgraded using 'recommended' option from 6.1 to 7.0b (using ISO found at
ftp://ftp.linux.tucows.com/pub/ISO/Mandrakebeta/).

Upgrade appeared to go OK, with no error messages seen on the screen.

Upon rebooting all of my networking configuration settings were wiped so had
to reset. Fired up 'DrakConf', clicked Networking->Basic Host Info, entered
info for my DHCP cable modem setup and clicked Accept. At this point all
linuxconf windows disappeared and no changes made to my configuration files.
DrakConf main window remains open and usable.

Started up 'linuxconf' from an xterm and tried same actions. This time I see
the message "Segmentation fault (core dumped)".

Checked what linuxconf rpms were installed:
[root@foo /root]# rpm -qa | grep linuxconf
gnome-linuxconf-0.22-3mdk
linuxconf-devel-1.16r10-2mdk
linuxconf-1.16r10-2mdk
linuxconf-1.16r2.1-1mdk
[root@foo /root]#

I then deleted the 3 linuxconf* rpms and reinstalled the two 1.6r10 that
appear on the 7.0b release.

Same core dumps :(

Here I go into the printer configuration select 'HP Deskjet 722C Colour',
print a test ASCII page, pressing 'No' when prompted to indicate the page did
not print OK and then hitting cancel when prompted to choose a printer type
again.

The below errors are intermittent - the worst kind - as they do not
consistently appear when I do the indicated actions. I will look into the
scripts behind the printing now to see if I can spot any reason why the pages
are not printing.

[root@foo /root]# DrakConf
