Guys, after this last install from a still current mirror, I've got say
I'm really impressed and really excited about 7.0. Definately have yourselves a
vodka rocks for me after this is over. Couple of niggling details:
My cd-rw came soooo close to being setup automagically. Problem was in
fstab:
/mnt/cdrom /mnt/cdrom2 supermount user,exec,dev,suid,rw,fs=iso9660 0 0
No " = " parameter on the "dev". Added /dev/scd0 and it worked. Haven't
actually burned a disc yet (no blanks!), but xcdroast seemed to deal with it
fine. This is for a hp 7110i on hdd, with a 40x cdrom on hdc, by the way.
Big improvement on the new "choose size to install" dialog. May I make
one tiny gramatical suggestion? "of each of selected groups" ought to read "of
each of the selected groups". Otherwise, install went great, and my network
configuration (one static IP nic, one DHCP) actually worked this time!
Excellent job.
No desktop problems that I noticed, and I checked most everything.
Lothar mouseconfig is still giving me trouble, though.
[root@T19Hz0n02 /root]# mouseconfig
mouseconfig failed at /usr/lib/libDrakX/mouse.pm line 128.
/var/log/messages says:

And lothar soundconfig found my Gravis Ultrasound PnP, but didn't know
it. Got the "send this identifier" message. The identifier was : GRV0001.
