[Cooker] MouseDrake freezes

[WH Bouterse]

Trying MouseDrake with several WM's 
I continue to find it freezes up and I have to
ctrl-alt-<BackSpace>

However 'mouseconfig' works fine and recognizes mouse.
'Mouse Systems serial'
The 'emulate three button' is checked
I have a three button one and whether I 
leave it checked or unchecked it still gives
me the "cursor disappearing act" at higher resolution
as per previous post.
