Good day. With regard to DHCP on my @Home cable modem in Belmont, CA, the only successful DHCP client that I have found is in Redhat 5.2. It was dhcpcd-1.3.16-0.i386.rpm, and nothing else has worked for me at all. I've tried newer Redhat and Linux-Mandrake installs with my cable modem, and none of them work except the above. The "-h hostname" option must be passed in as well, but this does not help any other versions of pump or dhcpcd that I've tried. I'll try out the newest version of Linux-Mandrake (7.0 beta) when I get a chance, but in the meantime I'd just mention it to you. Regards, - Leo mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
