i have source for a pci module, compiles under both M6.5(MCP)
and M7.0b3, identical messages from the compile each time.
installed under 6.5, it detects the pci card correctly, i have
to resort to subsystem_id code to identify the card as either
adc or dig i/o.
installed under 7.0b(2/3), the call to pci_read_cofig_word returns
zero, which sorta means it don't work.
the only changes to pci.h appear to be just additional card data,
no change to the pci_device structure that diff could see.
i was wondering, which gcc compiler is installed under M6.5(MCP),
the install cdrom only shows gcc-fr(??) & pgcc ?
any other ideas ? the warning related to a pointer casting :-(
