Title: RE: [FUN] 3c589

Pixel,

A 3c589 is a PCMCIA Ethernet card from 3Com that can either use 10BaseT or 10Base2.  I don't know what kind of module (I'm relatively new to linux) but I was able to install it on both versions of RedHat.  It doesn't show up on the list of cards when trying to install networking in the graphical install of Mandrake 7.0, and it's not showing up on the supported hardware list on the mandrake site.

If it'll help, I'd be happy to re-install RedHat 5.2 or 6.0, then look for whatever modules you need me to look for.

Thanks!

Ben
