Using mdk 7.0 iso d/l’d from rpmfind.net on ~01/12/00 using the txt_boot.img diskette since the default install on cd-rom fails to find the /root partition (it cannot read my 1 hdd which has the /root partition)!

Sending termination signals …done

Sending kill signals…done

…do I need to continue on this scenario???

Trying again using the txt_boot.img diskette.  (default cd-rom install still doesn’t recognize 1st hdd)

Restarted the Upgrade process again.  Continued and finished upgrade.  On restart, couldn’t reconfigure the banshee video card including allot errors pertaining to the “System.map” file.  One other error stated “sound.o” or “soundcore.o” error.  Not all errors are listed here and I did end up formatting the /root and /usr partitions and did a full install instead.
