ok, the graphical interface is still having problems reading my partition table.

i regularly use pq5.0 and tried resizing each partition.  did find an errored
partition table (hda1) but deleted it.  Usually this trick does it, and then
the graphical (or text) install then sees the partition table.  But not this
time.

As such, cant install to my hdd.  Any more suggestions???
This seems reocurring and i never had a problem problem using 6.0 or
6.1.

This is strange.

good thing i held off, FINALLY!  (it went)

i did a fdisk /mbr in a dos window and then re- re- resized several
partitions (including dos partitions) and it did find another 2 on
d: 

it doesn't seem like the fdisk /mb helped but it's worth documenting
anyways since there wasn't any controled enviroment.
