I never heard about that beast. Seriously, is there or would there be a way to have 'configure' yelling when it does not find a package like this? Looking carefully, I saw that it searches for yacc but goes on. I also found configure.cache, but how can I distinguish between what is fatal and what is normal configuration, what should be yes and what should be no? Maybe we could have some dependencies on the source packages, specifying what is needed to build them. Well, these are surely crappy questions. Just wanted to thank Chmouel. =-= kk1 ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
