Just a thing I thought I would notify you all of. I have installed
Mandrake 7.0 Oxygen with no major faults, just tiny ones (i.e. missing
desktop icons). Kppp went in perfect in under 2 minutes. Downloading,
installation and running of themes, small programs and VMware was
simple, as long as you follow the instructions.
Now, for VMware you do need to add some RPMS, such as make, gcc & kernel
headers and thier dependencies. Then after you have configured, created
and powered on, you only have one more thing to do, install VMware
Tools. This is where I am just having a small problem but it should be
fixed soon. Even though with this problem that caused only 16 colours in
Windows 98, I had connection to the internet and both Internet Explorer
and Outlook Express running on Win98 in a virtual machine in Mandrake
7.0
