Hello all;

I had Mandrake 7.0 installed on my notebook computer with PCMCIA
Ethernet card. Everything was working fine until I have upgraded to
the latest cooker from rpmfind.net. Now the card does not get
recognized. I get a high beep followed by a low beep when the system
boots. I thought it might be interrupt conflict, since this was a
problem in going from 6.0 to 7.0. So I did play with different con
figuration to no avail.

Then I thought I should look at system message and see what it
reports to be the problem. I got the following:

If I read this correctly, it says that kernel module 8390.o was
compiled for a different kernel version not 2.2.15-5 that it came
with. Am I correct? If so, can any of the gurus out there help me
with this?

Thank you.

Regards;

Mohammad.
