You need to enable the mod_php

LoadModule php3_module        /usr/lib/apache/libphp3.so
AddModule mod_php3.c

in  /etc/httpd/conf/addon-modules/mod_php3.conf in my case but maybe it's in
/etc/http/conf/httpd.conf
