Pixel,

I created a floppy from your updates/7.0/images/hd2.img and used it
successfully for a couple of installs. When I just now did an md5sum on it
just now I got:

7c5f7f931709c8a86f84ddd7c885c2db /dev/fd0

Here is the md5sum of images/hd.img from my local mirror of rpmfind.net 's
Linux-Mandrake's 7.0 distribution tree:

57754303dd569b10ce1ee56a18854f64 hd.img

These are different, which DOES establish that the older hd.img in the
distribution was not updated with your newer hd2.img when the newer images
were removed from the 7.0 updates directory.

If anyone out there still has a copy of the 7.0/updates/hd-2.img file,
now removed from the mirrors, could you do an md5sum on it and publish the
result here?
