Some cooker installation problems:

(1) dumpkeys failed in perl-install/keyboard.pm: 217
    dumpkeys is nowhere to be found in mkdinst.

(2) Perl is giving warnings about setting locale failed:
        LANGUAGE=en_US:en
        LC_ALL=en
        LANG=en
   when the locale Mandrake/mdkinst/usr/share/locale/en _is_ on the CD;
   whats happening here?

(3) I'm installing on a Compaq Presario, with Compaq's 'interesting' BIOS.
    The install process picks up on the psaux mouse, the mouse doesn't
(normally)
    work on the FB X driver. Sometimes it does, if I've come from another
envrionment
    that has set the mouse,etc properly (eg I've warm booted from Windows).
        Once the OS is up, changing to the SVGA X driver normally fixes
things, but..
        I cant run the installer properly without a working mouse!

        Solutions:
                (a) fix the FB X driver
                (b) Add keyboard shortcuts to the graphic installer;
particularly
                at the partition configuration stage. (Try using it without
a mouse
                to see the problem).
