i've been around for some time, and i guess it's no secret, but the reason for
the minimal distro size was due to the restricted size of the floppy diskette
(~ 1mb). Now an ls120 diskette will hold 120 mb and move almost twice as fast.
since cd-r's have become more popular and are considered standard devices, it
too could be considered a "standard" for rescue media.

note: there is no real limitations (yet) to the miscellaneous "rescue" tools
that you can toss into it.

i'm presently downloading www.demolinux.org and will check it out
later.....looks real spiffy of which, a newbie won't have to mess with command
line stuff anymore! sure if ms got thier hands on this idea, they'd sell the
rescue iso/cd-r for about $100 (ransom money....lol).
