When configuring my Brother HL-1240 (parellel port, which uses the hp
laserjet 4/5/6 driver) does not print. shows message of sending to quene and
waking printer but nothing else....printer is online and is awake.) Again, more
than likely will work w/o problem once booted into mdk and finished w/ install
process. (printer "will" work in mdk 7.0)
When creating bootdisk (i have an ls120 connected to /dev/hdd -i think),
states the following on menu:
"Insert a floppy in drive HASH(0x9e666c8)"
clicking ok reveals = "An error occurred insmod loop failed"
seems that the insmod ide-floppy failed. doing this manually again results in
the following errors:
insmod ide-floppy failed at /usr/bin/perl-install/commands.pm line 420.
Seems that doing anything with insmod or modprobe fails!!! doing an lsmod
reveals on the aha152x and isofs modules are loaded!!
on alt-F1:
perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C")
Setting Locale failed.
Please check that your locale settings:
LANGUAGE = "en_US:en",
LC_ALL = "en",
LANG = "en"
are supported and installed on your system.
in the beginning i choose english. seems to be a "sytax error" someplace!
