[Cooker] gimp 1.1.17mdk.rpm

>From the contrib page I have been using gimp-1.1.17-1mdk.rpm
for a couple weeks now and am quite happy with it.

However I have noticed something. Leaving it on for 5 days 
straight now but no active gimp proceedures running 
cpu usage of 90+% seems to be holding steady for gimp
as far as 'top' shows. 
I even tried having framemaker up and
an active netscape browser window, which did drop
gimp to 50% briefly then back to 90%. Surprisingly this
did not crash my machine which shows the progress you all
have made in helping out the stability of netscape.

I have not thought to check this with the other versions of gimp i.e.
1.0.4
So am curious if it is a basic gimp trait or one the 1.1x versions
show.?
