And what if I run a mirror and only update once a week (absurd yes, but
an example to point out how absurd your request is)?  So announcements
should wait until my mirror has done it's update, once a week?

And how does Mandrake know all of the mirrors are updated?  Continuously
poll them all?

C'mon Ron you must see how silly your request is at this moment.  I am
sitting here half thinking you are having a laugh there yanking my
chain.
