I assume XFree86 4.0 will not be in 7.1, but do TrueType fonts work the
same as they did in 3.3.6? I can install fonmts with drakx, which I assume
does:
1) add truetype font dir to xfs config file
2) run ttmkfontdir from freetype
Now, XFree86 4.0 has natiive TTF support based on freetype, but
unfortunately I don't see any of my installed fonts appearing in the font
list. I also read that a new feature in RedHat 6.2, was that you no longer
had to run mkfontdir. Does anyone know what this is about?
