During the booting I had problems with my soundcart and ethernedcard.
I'm using 2.3.99 kernel and it has PNPsupport, so my soundcard driver (loaded
before net - from /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit) took the IRQ the net card (ne2000
nonPNP) and than the netcard hasn't been explored. This happend always, even
i have in /etc/modules written that soundcard has IRQ=7, during boot took
always 5.
So I rewrote the rc.sysinit and extract the sound section to /etc/rc.d/init.d/sound.
And changed positon loading sound after network. Now it's work FINE!
And my question? :-))
Shouldn't be the sound section from rc.sysinit in /etc/rc.d/init.d ?
