there has been reports 2/3 weeks ago that this could result in security
problem with telnet (thought i won't claim it's true). So try vc/? but ?
may be insecure.
There are also patches for ttyname and/or util-linux around. i hope
glibc-2.2 come to live soon.

A different viewpoint : this can be seen as a security feature: root may
only be reached from a legally connected user (but then, DrakX should
enforce that at least 1 user is created)
