Why is it every time I upgrade to the latest KDE all the menus are deleted.
Sometimes even after the applnk's have been restored they are removed without
having to upgrade KDE. (I haven't discovered the steps required to reproduce
this.) I've tried using update-menus, but I'm not sure how to drive this or if
it is designed for use with KDE, but anyway it doesn't work !
Even if update-menus is supposed to be used isn't it a bit presumptuous to
assume that all the applnk's can simply be removed regardless of what mime
types or applnk's the user may have defined.
This has been happening for the last several versions of KDE.
