[Cooker] Hacking install

Hello,

I was wondering how much work would be involved in hacking the mandrake
installer to use a 2.3.99 kernel so I can ftp install over a USB>Ethernet
adapter...
this box is basicly "Thin" and does not have a floppy or cdrom, it does
have :
a) USB
b) Parport

I have a usb nic that works grrrrrrrrreat in 2.3.99 (pre6-2) and my other
option is PLIP (ewwwww)
