the megaraid.o module *is* there at stage2.
i don't understand what can cause the pb. Could you mail the /tmp/ddebug.log?

PS: if the "not found" happens at stage1, it's not a pb. But that doesn't seem
to be your pb. You're testing cdrom install on ide-cdrom drive, aren't you?
