Maybe an option while upgrading to skip LILO configuration? I had problems with it this round, it kept giving me the >1024 error & no option to skip, but I had allready sucessfully set it up during 7.0 install. I know the new kernel must be added to lilo.conf, possibly the installer can add the lines needed to test it out first? OR: Changing LILO setup for Upgrade only to be more of a lilo.conf front end, defaulting to the new kernel, but giving you options of adding/removing other listings & params..
