I don't know what is going on with the compat-glibc packages, but for
the last few months all of them have had the same problem. This has
prevented me from upgrading netscape; I had to revert back to redhat's
netscape packages! The md5 signature is NOT ok, and since this has
happened in at least three consecutive releases of the same package, I
guess the problem most be on the machine where this packages are built.

This is what happens:

[root@fulgore:/home/ftp/pub/linux/mandrake-devel/cooker/Mandrake/RPMS]#
rpm -Uvh compat-glibc-5.3-2.0.7.6mdk.i586.rpm
compat-glibc unpacking of archive failed on file
/usr/i386-glibc20-linux: cpio: unlink failed - Bad file descriptor
[root@fulgore:/home/ftp/pub/linux/mandrake-devel/cooker/Mandrake/RPMS]#
rpm --checksig compat-glibc-5.3-2.0.7.6mdk.i586.rpm
compat-glibc-5.3-2.0.7.6mdk.i586.rpm: md5 GPG NOT OK
[root@fulgore:/home/ftp/pub/linux/mandrake-devel/cooker/Mandrake/RPMS]#
