Hello,
I have been reading a couple of e-mail's regarding imwheel lately, and this
reminded me that my Logitech wheel mouse has never worked in Linux / X. It
worked for a very pleasant while in StarOffice, but since 5.2 even this has
stopped working !
I have tried doing all that has been suggested recently on cooker, but I would
REALLY like to get this mouse working (even if just to stick two fingers up at
my Windows centric work colleagues who keep laughing at my continued usage of
Linux - poor disalusioned people !).
So far I have tried setting:
Protocol "MouseManPlusPS/2"
Protocol "PS/2"
Buttons 3
Buttons 5
ZAxisMapping 4 5
I've also tried running inwheel, but the feedback, or lack of, is insufficient
to tell me a) how to properly use it and b) if it is actually working. I
suppose the answer to b) is no, since nothing responds to the wheel ! I have
checked /etc/imwheelrc and it looks okay, but I don't really know the formats,
so I can only guess at that.
Is there someone who can help to get my wheel mouse working ?
