Hey y'all...
I gotta admit... the v7.1b of Linux-Mandrake is the bomb. I upgraded my
7.0 box just recently. After a little battle with a slightly screwed up
iso the first time around, I got everything nicely upgraded. Before the
upgrade, I had something, I believe it was slocate, crashing my system
every evening after the 0400 cron job where slocate was updating its
database of all the files in the system. I'd find my system locked up
after running overnight five mornings out of seven. Now... I've had close
to four days solid runtime without a crash or lockup.
Thanks, y'all...
