Hey there, I tried installing Mandrake Beta at my system. I have a Tekram DC395 (With the Tekram S1040 Chip - NOT(!) the NCR one) and a Plextor 40x CDROM and a Yamaha 6432 CDRW on it. I have IDE Harddrives. At Mandrake 7.0.2 It's trm_dc395x v1.10 1999/07/19 and working fine At Mandrake Beta It's trm_dc395x v1.11 1999/10/14 and it's hanging while booting. Everything looks good but at the point where the old one had some syncing things and then continues loading, the new one failed. Is there a possiblity to add the old module into the actual Beta Bootdisk ? I would like to check if it's the module or differences in the Bootdisk Environment. What can I do to get out more informations ? Thanks, Daniel
