Are there any plans to support X on the 810/820 video chipset during
install?
I've been playing with XFree86-4.0-2mdk and the FB kernal method - enough to
say it's a PIA...
With the influx of workstation computers like (eg DM9102 10/100 Ethernet,
CM738 Sound & PCTEL Sound/Modem, 820 Mobo Video, & DVD) it seems that the
video is all that's left to get working and standard install XF86VGA_16
doesn't quite run right.
They're looking good to replace the iMac as an office machine.
The /proc/pci is available if you want...
