Hi,
I have tried for the first time Mandrake. Before I had SUSE but I like the
Mandrake distribution more. I have now installed the 7.1 version Beta but I
have a problem with the EtherPower II 9432 PCI Network card (epic100,
Standard with the Mandrake Distr.).
It seems that the card is loaded correctly. But I do not get a connection to
my Internet gateway. I am using static IP address. What can I try to make
sure that the card is working properly?
This machine is connected to a Windows NT machine using wingate. I have had
this problem never with SUSE or Corel Linux.
What could be the problem here? I think I have the network setting correct.
