Hi, I don;t know why youre SbLive doesn't work.
Me too I have a Sblive. Since Mandrake 7.02, I do not need to do
anything. The sound is configured automaticly. But I don't like the driver
version
supplied ( no offense ) by Mandrake. What I always do is > go to the
Creative's developers site and grab
the latest driver's sources tarball. Then Compile it, remove the current
emu10k1 module, and install the new
one.
as root:
# rmmod emu10k1 ( if it is loaded )
# rmmod soundcore ( ... )
# modprobe emu10k1
