Thus, for the THIRD time, I am asking how to make XFree 4 to work!
I keep asking for it because I read ( I remember)
that several people has Xfree 4 working well and FAST with Voodoo 3 card.
I do have a Voodoo 3 3000 AGP 16MB.
My monitor is ViewSonic E790 ( 19" ).
XFdrake --xf4 says it can't find a valid video mode for my card when
choosing automatic resolution... UH?
The default steps (previously) failed saying that there was an error.
I went to the xfree.org/4.0 and I found that the Voodoo 3 is supported (
through tdfx.o module ).
And again I am saying I'm screwed.
I am scared to be annoying with the above. But I am feeling like
a child who has received a broken gift....
Please! help me! :)
