Ideally, anti-aliasing in the menus would be available, so one of the
anti-aliased defaults for Sans could be used. (Does RH not have anti-aliasing
available in the menus in their OO.o package?)
Try with the new libvcl library from: <http://people.mandrakesoft.com/~gbeauchesne/openoffice/libs/>. It has anti-aliasing for the menus now.
(Note, my rc2 box is a laptop with 1024x768x16bit LCD panel, but KDE fonts look
great).
LCD display? Interesting, please try it out then.
The auto-font-scaling does help to make the fonts more readable, but it would be
nice to have them more pleasing on the eye also.
Remove the auto-font-scaling thing. i.e. comment it back and make it 100 again in your user's Common.xml file.
Bye, Gwenole.
