I started x0rfbserver on :0 and vncserver on :1 simultaneously using KDE. I
then used tightvnc viewers running remotely under Windows XP to view the two
displays via a 640KB DSL circuit. The :0 display from x0rfbserver was the
normal, fully functional, but typically slow x0rfbserver response, KDE
screen. When I tried to view the :1 display, with or without the :0 viewer
running, I got this "Could not start process Unable to create io-slave: Too
many open files" error message:
http://www.tigertek.net/mandrake/CouldNotStart.gif
Dispite that message, there aren't too many files open on either computer.
Other programs can be started and run normally on both computers while that
message is displaying.
