Yes I would still prefer to have it actually in the club.

This are wrong thoughts. If the docs are in the club it is a way to attract 
people to be a member, even if it is available for all. If the number one 
ressource of documentation is in the club, all people get in contact with the 
club. We shoudn't force people to be member of the club to read some user 
contibuted documentation. The whole distro is free and all current 
documentation is under FDL.  
 Maybe something additional like d/l the whole docs as zip(rpm/whatever) or a 
docs-voting system very likely to the rpm-voting (with testing-status before 
it goes to public or so) could add value for the club.
