I have all the cursor themes from kde-look working here (including 
red-dot, which calls itself Cursor), just need to package them.

IMHO, things like this belong in KDE Control Center and GNOME Theme 
manager. Anyway, it is trivial to get a menu entry , almost impossible to 
get a desktop icon .. so menu entry it is ....
