Yes, please identify the faultive font. There is either a bug in OOo or in 
freetype library. In the mean time, please try the following library: 
libvcl641li.so from

Faulty fonts i could identify were beachtyp.ttf and palascr.ttf

Then, before starting
OOo again, do SAL_EMBEDDED_BITMAP_PRIORITY=0 ooffice <whatever options> 
and check whether it still crashes.

this time works fine, i tried to reproduce the bug but it works fine 
now! I can even open the documents that hung it up before...
