reverting back to the older drivers is a workaround for the original problem,
thanks for the hint. I can now login as another user,

_BUT_

now I have the problem that I cannot terminate the second gdm-greeter. If I
click on "Beenden" (probably "Terminate" in English), I get an almost white
background with a working mouse pointer, but nothing more happens.

Using Ctrl-Alt-F7 however, I can get back to my original login, but using
Ctrl-Alt-F8 always shows me the rests of the malfunctioning gdm-greeter.

I'm not sure, if this is still an XFree86-issue ...

hi,

the gdmflexiserver, which allows to login as another user without
logging out from the current session, is still not working.

Each time I use the command, the screen flickers and I end up with a
screen full of garbage.

The workaround is to switch to a non gfx-console then (ctrl-alt-f1), then back
to console _8_ (where the "new login" screen resides) and now I can login as
a "new user".

I have a full cooker installation.

Already reported this about a month ago on cooker, but got no response and it
was not fixed up to now, so I decided to make a bugzilla entry.
