I have only tried it using Opera. In 9.0 Opera used Xine outside the
browser but in 9.1RC2 it does not use it at all and what it does use
does not correctly render either video or sound.

As to plug-ins, I was using plugger in all versions of Mandrake and
Opera.

For some reason, in 9.1 Plugger has been replaced by Mozplugger which
seems to be the same thing as Plugger but with a different name. I did
try using Plugger 4.0 to see if it made a difference.

Can Xine be used as a standalone for videos on internet pages?
