------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-11 19:33 -------
It's set to "yes" (including the quotes). I didn't change it from the defaults
since installing the RPM.

I rebooted (ick) to make sure that all services were freshly initialized and in
sync with my computer. The error still exists.

Note that the first time I shut down my machine, the ntpd service shutdown
showed a "[FAILED]" next to it. This might have something to do with the
package installation because I just now did a second shutdown, and the ntpd
service was stopped correctly.

description:
When waking up my laptop from suspend, the clock jumps to GMT. However, the
timezone is still set to the correct zone (that is, it hasn't moved to GMT, only
the time has). "hwclock" returns the correct time and time zone.

Example: date = 18:00 CET -> suspend for ten minutes -> date = 19:10 CET.

This is on a ThinkPad 390X.

(Also, I'm not sure if kernel is te right spot for this, but I figured it was
worth a shot.)
