Hello, I've lost a lot of time with snort because mysql support is not enabled for log capabilities but comments to enable it are still in the /etc/snort/snort.conf file...
It's not coherent... : remove comments from it or enable mysql support
(should be better i think).
No err msgs in syslog for this because of the "-s" option in the
initscript.
