When choosing to reboot from either KDE or Gnome under RC2 when the machine goes
through its bios check it is unable to probe a keyboard and proceeds to failure. A
simple
press of the on/off switch corrects this but something is surely not getting shutdown
properly
by linux RC2. This never happens under winXP or RedHat8.
