------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-12 19:48 ------- I don't know if this helps, but it seems that if I run mousedrake from the command line I can get the wheel working, but if I run it through drakconf, the changes do not register. Don't have the nice mouse graphic to test it on this way however :) ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: I tried running HardDrake (menu in KDE desktop: K, Configuration, Hardware, HardDrake) to configure the mouse. I had selected the wrong mouse and the scroll wheel was not working. But no matter what I set it to, HardDrake keeps telling me the following: Location on the bus: 0:0 Old device name: /dev/psaux Name: Standard Number of buttons: 2 Type: PS/2 I click Run config tool and change the setting to, for instance, Logitech MouseMan+ or Generic PS2 Wheel Mouse but the text on the right side (previous paragraph) never changes. And the mouse wheel never starts working, although I do get some random right clicks while the tool apparently is switching the mouse driver. This is Mandrake Linux 9.1 beta 3.
