When PSI is running and I want to shutdown the computer, I choose "disconnect
<login>" from the K menu, then shutdown computer, and OK.
KDE makes its sound, apps begin to close, until psi closes. Then the shutdown
process is stopped, and I have to go through the menu again to stop the computer.
I have tested without psi, and it works fine.
