the things you downloaded are the rpm's modified for the sparc, alpha,
etc, ports, so it's not anymore as stable as the 7.1-x86 will be.
we contacted another time the guys at the mirrors' staff, the beta3 should
appear today. okay, please excuse me to have told you the same thing on
last sunday, i just repeat what i am told..
i'm hoping it will come soon.
