Bug #2741 is superficially the same, but I hesitate to over-combine. However,
this is a dup of bug #1160 (whose second reference confirms on "Fujitsu Siemens
E-series notebook with an ATI Radeon 7500 mobility").

When from an X11 session (started from the mdkdkm manager)
you terminate the session (selecting exit and log as another user), the whole
machine hangs/freeze (screen goes black, keyboard no longer answer [thus no
Magic SysRQ keys], ethernet no longer answer to pings, etc.]).
video chipset is Radeon Mobility 7500, kernel 2.4.21-0.13mdk,
mdkkdm-9.1-24mdk.
