------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-13 20:20 ------- No, this has been fixed in RC1. Thanks for following up. ----Original Message Follows---- To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [Bug 1022] [Installation] Boot disk isn't created (dupe of 343/344?) Date: Thu, 13 Mar 2003 10:35:10 -0500 (EST) http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1022 [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Version|1.801 |1.807 ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-13 16:35 ------- This bug has been automatically updated to last version of product available. Please check if it is still valid. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You reported the bug, or are watching the reporter. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: Installed 9.1 beta 2. Told installation program to use the /boot partition, NOT the MBR, for the LILO boot loader. (I dual boot with Windows 2000 and use the Windows boot loader in the MBR.) The step to create the boot floppy was completely skipped, so I couldn't boot Mandrake 9.1 at all. Tried this twice - same thing both times. This may be a dupe of an earlier bug (343/344, I think) but that indicated the bug was resolved. If it is resolved, it's not in the released code. Keep up the good work, guys. I think you've got the best distro out there. _________________________________________________________________ MSN 8 with e-mail virus protection service: 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/virus ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: Installed 9.1 beta 2.
