Not exactly and my apologies for my prior bugreport. I understood that it
was in the comment area and didn't quite understand how that could affect
anything. It was the first bugzilla I ever sent in and I should have
done better research.
Your devfsd script in /etc/rc.d/init.d tries to use a config file of
/etc/devfsd.config while the config file since 2/02 has been
devfsd.conf. I think that's the problem.

The devfsd file points to a "devsfsd.config" file - typo which produces error
messages. It should point to "devfsd.config" Error messages show up when exiting
LinuxConf. This started in the 9.0 2.4.19-1mdk kernel and has been in both RCs of
the 9.1 betas. No idea of the "priority" or "severity"
