Well all the files where in ~/evolution/local/Inbox and appeared to have
been normal. Before I had upgraded to Mandrake 9.1 rc2 I had been
running Mandrake 9.0 with evolution patched up to 1.2.2 using the Ximian
packages. After I upgraded the emails that had been in my inbox where no
longer there when I opened up evolution. I can't say if I checked the
mbox or not as it's been a little while. It's possible it just might
have been a bit of bad luck on my part and I happened to get an
unreproducible instance. It has been working fine in every other regard
since then.

Upon installing the new version and starting up the program I found that all
emails from the inbox were gone. I had previously been running 1.2.2 that had
been downloaded from Ximian. All other folders were unaffected.
